Buju, a Nigerian singer, has finally explained his decision to drag Ruger.
Recall how Buju charged Ruger with body shaming him and with failing to provide fans with original songs. Ruger made fun of Buju for having the top project because his EP included Wizkid, Olamide, and Wande Coal, which led to this less than cordial banter.
Buju took offense to this and dragged Ruger for constantly complaining about his waist before he could get his song to the top of the charts. On August 26, Buju disclosed that he had dragged Ruger as a result of Timaya's counsel. He acknowledged that Burna Boy and Wizkid had warned him that fake love is common in the music industry, but Timaya had inspired him to ignore Ruger's disrespect.
Ruger must have grown tired of his fans constantly drawing comparisons between him and him, according to Buju, but that doesn't give him the right to disparage his work in that way. He added that while he has no issues with Ruger, he should anticipate receiving a Gbos if Ruger gives him a GBA.
