Burna boy wins MTV EMA best African act award.

Like so many people will say, Burns boy is really the man of the year 2019 in the Nigeria and African musical scene. He arguably won the biggest awards around the globe amongst all African artistes this year. Adding to the retinue of his awards this year was the just concluded MTV EMA awards where he won the African act of the year.

The yearly MTV EMA awards was this year held in Seville Spain on Sunday November 3rd 2019. Burns boy was nominated alongside fellow Nigerian Teni, South Africa's Prince Kaybee and Nasty C, Harmonize from Tanzania and Togo's duo Toofan for the best African Act of the year of which Burna boy was announced the winner.

It is thrilling moment for the Nigeria popular rapper Ice Prince has he  ended the year 2018 in a historical way, as he emerged as the  2018 most streamed African rapper on Spotify.

Sportify is a digital music, podcast, and video streaming service which gives people  access to millions of songs and other content from artists all over the world.

The Nigeria Rapper got the number one spot in the most streamed African rapper list, by getting 19 million streams and 1 million hours listening this year. However popular South African Rapper Nasty C tallied behind and had 17 Million Streams, Ghanaian Rapper Sarkodie had 9 Million Streams on Spotify for the year 2018.

Meanwhile the rapper has showed his excitement through a post on his IG page by posting "It is an amazing year".

WIZKID SETS TO BUILD A SCHOOL IN ALL AFRICAN COUNTRIES

The popular Nigerian  singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly addressed  as Wizkid, has announced through his Twitter handle his plan to build a school in every country in Africa.

The singer made the disclosure yesterday through various tweets from his verified account, where he called on his fans to help him pick which country to start with.

“Using my own profits from this business partnership with Nike to build a school back home in Lagos. Educationforeverychild.

“I’ll need help from fans to pick where we start this. Trying to build a school in every country in Africa. That’s my dream. Surulere, Lagos, Ghana and Benin Republic,” the tweet read.

It will be recalled that, Starboi had earlier announced through a tweet the release date for his collaborative effort with sports company, Nike, on branded jerseys.

According to the superstar, the jersey would go on sale from Monday, September 10 at #30,000.
