Celine Dion, a legendary American singer, has disclosed that she has been identified as having "stiff person syndrome," an illness that is completely incurable.
It is a condition that causes rigidity and spasms in the trunk and limbs. This is the reason, according to Dion, why she hasn't been able to sing as well as she usually does. She mentioned how much she missed singing because that is all she has ever done.
Celine says that her condition is not allowing her to give her fans the best she would have loved to. However, she is on the road to recovery. The 54-year-old first hinted about her health issues in January, when she postponed some of her shows due to consistent muscle spasms.
In her words:
?? Celine Dion reschedules Spring 2023 shows to 2024, and cancels eight of her summer 2023 shows. ??
« ’I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through…It hurts me to tell you that I won’t be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February.” – Céline
