The release of socialite Pascal Okechukwu, alias Cubana Chief Priest, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has prompted David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, to comment.

Davido revealed that his best friend is no longer in prison.

Cubana Chief Priest was detained by the EFCC for alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

On Thursday last week, Cubana Chief Priest was allegedly apprehended at the Lagos airport.

His detention was confirmed by the anti-graft agency, but no other information was provided.

Following his release, the celebrity bartender took to Instagram to declare that the EFCC had cleared him.

Reacting, Davido, who took to his Instagram, wrote: “My bestie is free!! @cubana_chiefpriest.”
