Don Jazzy, the ace producer and label head, has responded to a fan who queried why he signed another singer only six months after Magixx.

On the 14th of April, Don Jazzy activated a new Mavin artist, Boy Spyce, who has already released his first extended playlist.

Because Magixx has only been in the industry for 6 months, the decision must have surprised social media fans who thought Don Jazzy was rushing to sign a fresh singer.

"I thought you just signed Magixx two weeks ago," a follower named Chenems tweeted. Don Jazzy just replied, "That's how the top three record labels do it." Many musicians are waiting to be activated, according to Don Baba J, but he is only releasing them now.
