A year after announcing their separation, famous Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele and her estranged husband, JJC Skillz, have reunited at a movie premiere in Lagos State.

Naijacrawl reports that the couple got married in London in 2016 and welcomed a set of twins in 2018.

In June 2022, JJC Skillz announced his separation from the actress on his Instagram page, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Despite the significant social media attention their separation received, the details remained private.

However, in a now trending video on the internet, the pair were captured on Wednesday at the IMAX Theatre, Lekki, dancing and hugging during the premiere of Funke Akindele’s new movie, ‘She Must Be Obeyed’, which was also directed by the estranged husband.

The event was also graced by popular celebrities like Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Jaiye Kuti, Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Abraham among others.
