Nollywood actress and movie producer Funke Akindele’s movie "Battle on Buka Street" breaks 2022 cinema records.

Funke Akindele has been trending for days after the premiering of the movie “Battle on Buka Street” a few days ago. According to reports, the movie has topped the charts with over 135 million views.

The movie is said to have become the first Nollywood film with the highest number of views in one day – 26th December 2022.

Announcing the success of the movie, Funke Akindele wrote; “Buka on Battle street hits N135 million, the biggest single day for a Nollywood film in 2022 – 26m on 25/12/2022. Thank you, everyone!!! Work hard! Pray hard! Stay positive!!! Iyanu ma sele!!”
