Asake is revealing fascinating information about how he became a member of the YBNL family.

The Sungba singer admitted it took some time for Olamide to agree to sign him in an exclusive interview with Cool FM. Before he could listen to Olamide or his music, Asake claimed that he had to text him for two years. After Olamide signed Fireboy, Asake recalled how he tried to contact him, but Olamide ignored him.

Speaking about how Olamide ultimately changed his mind, Asake claimed that after he released Omo Ope, Baddo called and asked him to visit his office. Asake admitted that the call caught him off guard, but he went straight to Olamide's house.

Baddo made it known to him that he would love to sign him and gave him a contract to review and get back to him. Mr. Money confessed that he didn’t review the contract and just wanted to sign it before Olamide changed his mind.
