Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reflected on his time in detention.
The Zazu crooner shared his experience in detention in his yet-to-be-released single titled "Federal Government Liability."
In a snippet of the song shared on his Instagram page, Portable bragged that he didn’t wear a prison uniform while at the correctional center in Ilaro.
Recall that the Magistrate ordered that Portable be remanded at the correctional center in Ilaro pending the perfection of his bail conditions after he was granted N800,000 bail on Monday.
Celebrating his freedom in his latest song, the self-proclaimed "Wahala musician" stated that he is a child of grace, adding that he can never be disgraced.
“I am a child of grace. Latest glory. From the star to the eagle, come and see grace, wey no dey disgrace. They carried me to prison, but I didn’t wear their clothes. Leave me alone. "I am not a prisoner,” he sings.
Portable is facing a three-count charge involving assault and theft of musical equipment.
The hearing in the case will commence on April 26, 2023.
