The new sequel which is the part 9 of the Fast and Furious movie which has started since early 2001 will feature African American actor Idris Elba. This was made known by Dwayne Johnson (D Rock) after he released a picture of him, Jason statham and Elba. A picture which looked more like the poster picture of the upcoming movie. It was of a surprise that Vin Diesel was absent from the movie poster. Speculation had it that it may be because of the fall out he had with D Rock that caused this.

Should this mean VIN will be absent from fast and furious or the picture posted was just an ordinary picture culled from the movie set?
