Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress and opponent of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has vowed to believe in and back the government if justice is achieved for the late singer Mohbad.
According to The Daily Post, the late singer passed away on Tuesday at the age of 27 in a contentious manner.
The police on Thursday pledged to look into the circumstances of Mohbad's death in response to the grief and rumors surrounding his passing. This was stated in a statement by their Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Ojo stated in a post on her Instagram page on Saturday that every article she read about him brought tears to her eyes. She also mentioned how he cried out but no one paid attention to him.
Calling for justice, she stated that Mohbad’s death should be everybody’s business.
“Honestly, I will believe and support APC if Mohbad can get justice. That boy’s soul is crying for justice.
“Autopsy needed. An investigation is seriously needed. Every day I read something about him, and I shed tears. No, he cried out, and no one listened to him.
“How? Nooooo, it’s not my business that should be cancelled at this moment; it’s everybody’s business.
“His soul needs to rest. #justiceformohbad.”
