Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephine Otabor, simply known as Phyna, has asserted that women should not be entitled to the funds of a man they aren’t married to.

The reality star said that even in a relationship, ladies should not have an entitlement mentality over their partners’ money.

She made the comments while appearing on the Honest Bunch podcast live session on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Phyna, however, said it is okay for a man who has the means to spend lavishly on his girlfriend willingly, but maintained that ladies should not be entitled to such a gesture.

She said, “As a girlfriend, I don’t think you should expect a soft life from someone who will never marry you. If you’re craving a soft life, go to your dad or brother.

“But if God comes to butter your bread, say the man you are with is able and capable; enjoy. But don’t impose it.

“As a lady, if soft life dey hungry you, you have three options: one is either you go out there and make your damn money, two is either you go back to your father, and three is either you go to your brother.”

She said ladies should emulate her, stressing that she has been hustling since secondary school because her dad was poor and her brother was young.
