Mary Njoku shared her opinion via the image-sharing platform Instagram in a bid to encourage parents to help remind their kids of their true beauty.

Furthermore, she states that “white-skinned dolls should not be the standard of beauty” for children.

“African parents need to normalize buying brown dolls with Afro hair for kids.
This will help remind our children (especially our daughters) of how beautiful and unique they are.
White-skinned dolls shouldn't be their standard for Beauty”, she says
