The Limpopo singer was one of eight artists—including Timi Dakolo, Chidinma, Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, and Nathanial Bassey—nominated for "Best Inspirational Single."

When he won the prize, he was invited to the stage to accept it and, as is customary, dedicate it to a special person. Kcee dedicated the award to his beautiful wife, but he made the mistake of also dedicating the award to his girlfriend.

When he realized his mistake, he tried correcting it by saying his wife is also his girlfriend, but Nigerians already got the gist and they are currently dragging him on Twitter.
