According to EDaily, a South Korean news source, the idol is currently in the "final stages" of getting ready for her official solo debut.

This was reported today (August 23).

Choi's debut album is reportedly scheduled for release in September, though specifics like its format and release date have not yet been made public.

The Weki Meki singer's impending solo album follows a number of recent joint projects and K-drama soundtrack appearances. The most recent was her digital single "UH-RA," a collaboration with rapper Ahn Byung-woong, which was released earlier this month.

Choi also appeared on the B-side "Lazy" from ASTRO's subunit JinJin and Rocky's debut mini-album "Restore," which was released in January under the Fantagio Music label.
