Florence Otedola, a Nigerian producer and disc jockey better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy, has revealed why her billionaire father, Femi Otedola, spent millions of dollars to rent a luxury yacht for his 60th birthday celebration.

Following reports that he spent $2.2 billion to rent Aristotle Onassis' Christina O super luxury yacht, which will cruise the Mediterranean for three weeks, the billionaire businessman recently sparked conflicting reactions on social media.

Otedola shared a number of pictures on his Instagram page in a post that served as a countdown to his birthday celebration. The pictures showed him enjoying time with his family.

Florence posted amusing pictures of her and other family members having fun on the opulent yacht while celebrating her father's birthday on Instagram.

The performer recalled that her father's childhood dream was to sail aboard the legendary 99-meter superyacht CHRISTINA O, which belonged to his hero Aristotle Onassis.

“To celebrate his 60th, not only did he visit the yacht, but he has chartered it for his loved ones so we can live here for the next three weeks." Looking at my father, I can see how happy, accomplished, and still in disbelief he is. "This is what love looks like: family first,” she wrote.
