Wizkid and Burna Boy, two Nigerian singers, are back and prepared to become the "First African Artist" to sell out the London Stadium, which has an attendance capacity of 80,000.
Burna Boy fans learned two weeks ago that the UK's 80,000-seat London Stadium would host the star-studded performance of his "Love, Damini" Stadium Tour.
The news that Burna Boy would be performing at the Iconic stadium on June 3, 2023, was confirmed by Burna and his team on November 27.
Wizkid tweeted to let his followers know that he would also be headlining his London show at the same stadium a few hours after making his announcement.
Although Wizkid did not reveal the date, Africa Facts Zone claims Wizkid’s concert is on June 1, 2023.
With this new development, Wizkid will be the "First African Artist" to perform at the London Arena's 80,000-person capacity in 2023. Burna Boy's management may have made their announcement first, but he can only defeat Wizkid by rescheduling his concert.
