Nigerian singer Terry Apala has credited fellow artist Wizkid for transforming his music career.

In a recent interview with Pulse, Apala shared how Wizkid’s involvement in the remix of his hit song Apala Disco was a game-changer.

Apala explained that Wizkid’s decision to feature on the track was a major turning point. He acknowledged that the collaboration saved him millions of naira in promotional costs. "It wasn’t my doing. Wizkid just decided to help me, seeing that I’ve been struggling in the music industry for a long time," Apala revealed. "He changed my entire career with just one verse."
He compared the impact to finding a shortcut in the music business, where a collaboration with Wizkid significantly reduced his promotion expenses. "It’s like you’re planning to spend millions to promote your song, and then Wizkid jumps on it—automatically cutting your promotion budget. That’s how God works," Apala added.

Terry Apala's Apala Disco remix, which features Wizkid and Seyi Vibes alongside DJ Tunez, has gained widespread attention, highlighting the power of impactful collaborations in the music industry.
