Obunneme Osuchukwu, a Nigerian Twitter user, has chastised Obi Cubana for signing Portable as the brand ambassador for his Odogwu Bitters.
Obunneme believes Obi should have used Speed Darlington, who understands the brand's significance, rather than a Yoruba person, according to NAIJACRAWL. Both Igbos and Yorubas reacted strongly to Obunneme's tweets. Read on to learn more:

Onye dika onye dika onye dika onye dika onye dika on Darlington hastened to dash Probable 50m for ambassadorship, ghotara ife bu "Odogwu."
Igbo people and their logic can be perplexing at times.
"Odogwu" is an Igbo term that signifies "a man of high regard." A man of distinction. "A brave man..."
Tell me if this is transferable. A heroin addict who was caught stealing by security personnel has suddenly become an ambassador. The face of an Igbo brand is someone who needs counseling to control his hallucinations.
As Igbos, we must make sure that our decisions are well-informed.
A Yoruba man will not betray his brethren by appointing an Igbo man as ambassador, and this is how it should be. "Ebe onye bi ka ona awachi," as we Igbos say, "where one dwells is where one nurtures," a funny Igbo phrase that exemplifies the nursery mentality of care and consciousness of any situation an Igbo person finds himself in.
Let us continue to exist in a state of unconsciousness. Let us continue to sacrifice our "Essence" on the altar of capitalism.
