7 Nigerians That Engaged in #EndSARS Protest In Egypt Set To Be Deported For Not Having Permit
The 8 Nigerians that were arrested in Egypt on October 17 for protesting without a permit. They were carrying out the Egyptian 'version' of the #EndSARS protest. The Nigerian Embassy in Cairo intervened in order to secure their release, but the Egyptian authorities have since discovered that 7 of them do not have residency permit and therefore they are going to deport them.
The latest development was made known publicly by the Chairman of the Nigeria in Diaspora commission Hon Dabiri Arewa yesterday on her twitter handle.
