This particular incident just happened in the city of Nnewi in Anambra state as a boy believed to be seventeen years old reportedly got married to a girl of sixteen years old in the traditional way. According to an insider, the boy neither got the girl pregnant prior to the marriage nor was the young boy the only child of his parents. It was reported that the boy dropped out of school and demanded that he wants to marry, the parents were confused at first as the boy has elder brothers that are not yet married. But because of the boys insistence, the family finally granted his requested and sponsored his marriage to his young heartthrob.
