It was a saddened Sunday for the people of Danda Chugwi village in the Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State after suspected Fulani militants attacked the community, chopped off the hand of 5-month-old baby, killed eight people, including four children and a teenager who were all said to be members of the same family.
The heartless terrorists also chopped off the hand of 5-month-old baby boy and killed four children during the attack that occurred around 10:00PM on Sunday night.
Rwang Tengwong, the Berom Youth Moulders Association’s national publicity secretary, gave the names of the deceased as Pam Dawho, 59; Nvou Gyang, 43; Jah Pam, 50; Ruth Bot, 16; Chundung Gyang, 9; Mercy Gyang, 12; and Benjamin Gyang, 5.
The five-month-old infant boy whose hand the gunmen chopped off was among those injured during the attack.
