This development was made public through a press release signed by the Enugu state commissioner for information Mr Nnayelugo Chidi Aroh today in order to make the general aware of the unfortunate development.

In his statement, the commissioner urged the general public to disregard any call or message that might have emanated from the said phone line.

However, he assured the general public that security operatives have been briefed about this development and promise that the culprits will be apprehended soon.

The commissioner apologized on behalf of the government of Enugu state on the huge embarrassment the activities of the fraudsters might have caused the general public.
