Just few days that one of the security aides of the speaker of the house of representative; Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila shot a vendor dead in Abuja, a situation that led to the speaker to visit the family of the deceased vendor few days after.

The wife of the vendor; Josephine Okereke has now clarified the news that broke out yesterday that her husband’s family had written to the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives, to demand the sum of N500m as compensation. The deceased wife said she is displeased with her in-laws who want to use the scenario to enrich themselves.

She said she does not know anything about it and was not carried along when the decision was being made because she wouldn't support it.

It will be recalled that during the visitation of the Speaker, he promised to take full care of the family and the children the deceased left behind.
