The Lagos State Governor, His Excellency Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has declared Monday 2nd,.

Tuesday 3rd, and Wednesday 4th of May, 2022 as Public holidays to mark the 2022 International Workers' Day and Id-El-Fitr Celebrations respectively.

A Match-Past of various workers and Trade Unions will take place at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Sunday, 1st May, 2022 at 9:00am having Mr. Governor as the Special Guest of Honour.

It is to be noted that work resumes on Thursday, 5th May, 2022 at 8:00am.

Members of Staff are enjoined to stay safe during the celebrations.

In the meantime, the Minister of Interior; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has declared Monday and Tuesday the public holiday to celebrate Sallah and Workers' day. Aregbe enjoins Nigerians to be of good faith during and after the festive period.
