The embattled Oyo State Deputy Governor Rauf Olaniyan has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).He announced his defection from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in his private office, Ojoo, Ibadan in a chat with reporters.Olaniyan has not been on the good side of Seyi Makinde since the beginning of their administration.

The Oyo state Governor, Enfr Seyi Makinde has confirmed on his twitter handle that he has been tested positive of the novel coronavirus.The Governor wil be the third Nigeria Governors that will be tested positive after Bauchi and Kaduna state governors.Makinde tweeted this evening:I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is POSITIVE. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate.
