Khalil Suleiman Halilu has been chosen by President Bola Tinubu to serve as the new Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

The announcement was made in a statement released on Friday by Ajuri Ngelale, the president's special adviser on media and publicity.

According to the president's directive, the appointment is effective right away.

In accordance with the pertinent provisions of the NASENI Act of 2014, Khalil Suleiman Halilu will hold office for a five-year initial term, according to Ngelale.

The statement stated that Halilu, 32, is expected to bring his significant experience as an innovator and technology expert to bear on this important new national assignment.

The tenure of Dr. Bashir Gwandu as EVC/CEO of NASENI is hereby terminated.
