A tragic accident has claimed the life of a Sokoto State Community Guard Corps operative just hours after a successful joint operation rescued 66 kidnap victims in Sokoto State.
The operation, led by the Nigerian Army in collaboration with local security forces, took place on Monday in the Tidibali Forest, a notorious hideout for bandits in the eastern part of the state. The mission aimed to dismantle bandit camps and free hostages held in captivity.
