His own gang members were so unnerved that they kept their distance, unable to offer any help. Eventually, he succumbed to the mysterious affliction.

Operating from Kokonba Forest in Tsafe Local Government Area, Zamfara State, Dan Lukuti commanded a deadly group of over 50 heavily armed fighters. He was behind countless brutal attacks on towns and villages, including Dan Jiloga, Rijiya, Zonai, Magami, and the Gusau-Magami highway. His reign of terror also extended into Faskari, Katsina State, leaving a devastating impact on the region.
