As the country general election is fast approaching, politicians in the country have been making strategic move by realigning, defecting, consulting or seek supports from stakeholders concerning their ambitions.
It seems the crisis between the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his then Vice President Atiku Abubakar is nowhere to be settled as both statesmen clash verbally again.
It should be instructively noted that, last Friday, the erstwhile President said that "God will not forgive him if he supports Atiku's presidential ambition ahead of 2019 elections". The major things that initiated this crisis can be traced to the second term ambition of President Obasanjo and his proposed "third term" which Atiku against and also the presidential ambition of Atiku that Obasanjo dissents on the account that Atiku is an epitome of corruption.
Immediately after the statement from Obasanjo, Atiku fired back at his former boss that Obasanjo should tidy up his relationship with God instead of hanging his judgement with God on things concerning him.
Informatively, Atiku is one of the presidential aspirants of the People Democratic Party while Obasanjo is now a staunch anti second time bid of President Buhari a person he "ordained" prior to 2015 election.
