"Our attention has been drawn to rumours making the rounds on the purported disqualification of dr Olusegun Abraham from contesting the governorship primary election of the APC in Ondo state. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
"It is sponsored by mischief makers who have become jittery of the soaring popularity of Dr. Olusegun Abraham. We wonder where this news filtered from when the APC screening panel is yet to make public the names of qualified and unqualified aspirants in the screening exercise.
"We implore the public to disregard such news and keep hope alive. We also urge all our supporters to remain calm and continue preparing for our victory at the primaries as we await the names of qualified aspirants in the screening exercise by the authorities of our great party, APC. No cause for alarm, God is in perfect control."
