THE COALITION CALLS FOR RESIGNATION OF SENATE PRESIDENT
The recent death rate in Nigeria has called for groups to rise up and call for the resignation of the Senate President. On Tuesday, National house of Assembly witnessed a protest, which includes placards carrying in Abuja, calling for the resignation of the Senate President.
The Coalition, as the group were called, made their plights known to newsmen. The call for resignation of the Senate president with an hash tag, Saraki must go, was due to the fact that the Senate forgot easily the Offa Bank robbery and the Fulani Herdsmen killings in plateau, also the implication of the Senate president in the Offa Bank robbery case.
They were aware that the Senate president hasn't cleared his name and in lieu of this, it is the responsibility of the Senate president to clear his name before continuing with government duties.
