Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points with another emphatic win.

Pep Guardiola's side made it nine straight wins in the league with a convincing triumph over Arsenal, which took them further away from nearest pursuers Manchester United.

Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero – who was honoured for becoming City's all-time leading scorer in midweek – and sub Gabriel Jesus gave City victory.

Sub Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back for Arsenal in the 65 minute to make it 2-1 and give the visitors hope, but a goal from Jesus nine minutes later saw City seal the win.
