Akwa United, a Nigeria Professional Football League side, has unveiled Fatai Osho as their new head coach.
Osho was unveiled at an impressive ceremony at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Wednesday afternoon.
The young tactician assumed the role after the previous handler of the team, Deji Ayeni, left the post at the end of last season.
The former Remo Stars coach was earlier presented to the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Monday Ebong Uko, by the club’s chairman, Paul Bassey.
Osho said his read is for the new campaign and is confident of a good outing.
Sir, in all the clubs I have worked at, I must confess that Akwa United is unique. There is so much professionalism here in the management of the club, and we have been given all the tools we need to succeed.
“We have recruited well, and I can say without any fear of contradiction that we are ready for the league”.
