The TotalEnergies CAF Champions League matches for this season's first preliminary round were completed on Sunday.



The first preliminary final round of matches took place over the weekend, with some intriguing results. The Daily Post now presents all the teams that have advanced to the next round.

Saint George FC of Ethiopia advanced to the next round with a convincing 3-1 home victory over KMKM of Tanzania.

On the western side of the continent, Mali's Real Bamako defeated Cameroon's Coton Sport de Garoua 2-0 to advance to the next round, despite having the home field advantage.

After a 1-1 aggregate draw, Remo Stars SC of Nigeria fell to Medeama SC of Ghana 4-3 on penalties.

The complete first preliminary round results are listed below, along with the teams that advanced to the second round:
