Chelsea striker, Armando Broja could be on his way to join Newcastle United this summer.
Newcastle have identified the striker as an alternative to Hugo Ekitike.
Newcastle are keen on signing the striker and believe they can convince him to pick St. James’ Park over West Ham.
However, Chelsea are yet to make a decision on Broja, meaning that both the Magpies and West Ham must wait.
Broda spent last season on loan at Southampton and has been tipped to replace Romelu Lukaku at Stamford Bridge.
Former Chelsea defender, Glen Johnson has seen Broja as a ‘perfect replacement’ for Lukaku who has departed for Inter Milan.
He said there was no need for the Blues to comb the transfer market in search of a new striker.
