Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has unveiled his future ambitions, sharing plans to buy a football club.
Speaking at the Global Soccer Awards on Friday, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner ruled out a career in coaching, hinting instead at a potential venture into club ownership.
“I’m not a coach. I’m never going to be a coach,” Ronaldo declared. “President of a club? No. Maybe owner of a club. It depends on the moment and the right opportunities.”
When asked if he had a specific team in mind, Ronaldo replied cryptically, “Not yet. A few, maybe.”
The 38-year-old was also questioned about potential interactions with Manchester United’s co-owners, the Glazers. Ronaldo, who is still brimming with future aspirations, responded confidently:
“I’m still very young. I have so many plans and dreams ahead. But mark my words, I will own a big club—no doubt about it.”
Ronaldo’s bold statement has sparked excitement among fans, leaving many eager to see which club could soon fall under the ownership of the football icon.
