Hazard may not start the 2022-2023 season in Real Madrid's colors, according to the Spanish publication Diario AS.
Hazard's chances of playing regular football are slim, according to the source, with Vinicius Jr. in such strong form and Kylian Mbappe likely arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
Hazard is expected to be loaned by Real Madrid in order for him to restore form and fitness by playing regularly elsewhere and be ready to represent Belgium at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Hazard moved to Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 for over £100 million.
During his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 31-year-old has been hampered by ailments and is once again out of action.
Hazard has only played 877 minutes of club football this season and has only started nine games for Carlo Ancelotti's side.
Hazard will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to remove a titanium osteosynthesis plate implanted in his right fibula to treat a shinbone fracture.
