The recent deal between the La Liga management and sports and entertainment company to be pitting two top Spanish teams together in the United States every season for 15 year has not be acceptable by players, coaches and fans.
The deal which some people accused La Liga management of taken unilaterally without briefing relevant quarters concern as prompted players and coaches to take drastic measurement if the LA Liga management does not rescind the deal. Players have been boasting of taking strike action against the deal.
It should be noted that this will be the first time a La Liga match would be played overseas and players are not ready to accept the terms of the agreement which they considered inappropriate.
Spanish Footballers' Association met yesterday to discuss the proposals and superstars like Sergio Ramos Sergio Busquets and many others dissent the decision taken by the LA Liga management and said they were surprised hearing the decision too.
In AFE president David Aganzo reaction, he said "The players are outraged, very surprised, and are all against it. It's unanimous," "The players don't want to play overseas. Things have to be done in a more coherent way and with common sense. "A decision of this magnitude, that affects players, referees and fans, was taken unilaterally and is a lack of respect. "I have information that there are certain clubs that are in favour [of strike action] and others against this, but I represent the players."
Many LA Liga fans have been utterly astounded by this decision.
