The debate of who's the greatest of all time in football might have eventually come to an end yesterday after Lionel Messi did what has never been done before.
The greatness of Lionel Messi has always been questioned by few football fans due to his loyalty to Barcelona. Many had said that he should leave the club to another, but with an extraordinary performance against getafe yesterday evening, he has surely silenced critics.
Barcelona faced Espanyol yesterday at the camp Nou, with Barcelona edging out their arc rivals with a 2 goal margin. The highlight of the day was Lionel Messi's freekick which got everyone talking.
Many must have heard of Panenka penalty, which a lot of players have tried out and Messi recently did it against Lyon in their last UCL game. The football maestro took another turn to the Panenka penalty by scoring a Panenka freekick, this has never been done in football history before and he'll be the first player to ever scored a freekick like that.
Lionel doesn't seem to be slowing down this season at all, especially with Barcelona. See the video below.
