Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has encouraged new manager Ruben Amorim to consider bringing back Paul Pogba to Old Trafford.
Saha believes the current Man United squad lacks leadership, and Pogba could provide the necessary experience and quality to elevate the team.
Pogba, who left United in 2022, became a free agent after parting ways with Juventus in 2024. The French midfielder was initially handed a four-year doping ban, but it was reduced to 18 months after the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that he did not intentionally consume a banned substance.
Speaking to Best Betting Sites (as quoted by Metro UK), Saha made his stance clear:
“Yes, I would take Paul Pogba back at Manchester United in a heartbeat. It’s not just because of the squad’s injury struggles, but because of everything he brings as a player—leadership, confidence, and world-class ability.”
He emphasized that Pogba now has a golden opportunity to prove his worth once again.
“I’m sure his biggest motivation would be to show Amorim and Manchester United fans that he is still one of the best in the world. He’ll want to remind people how great he was and how great he can still be.”
With Amorim set to rebuild United, will he take Saha’s advice and give Pogba a second chance at Old Trafford? Only time will tell.
