Next month, the Super Falcons will play another friendly match against Japan as part of their intensified preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
On Thursday, October 6, the friendly will take place at Kobe's Noevir Stadium.
It will be the third time the two nations have met.
At the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus, the Nadeshiko edged the Super Falcons 1-0 in the first meeting between the two squads in 2004.
Two back-to-back friendlies in 2013 were won 2-0 each by the Asians.
The Super Falcons fell to a 2-1 defeat against world champions the United States of America on Wednesday morning.
It was a remarkable improvement from the 4-0 defeat to the same opponent last Saturday.
The former African champions are one of the 32 teams that will take part in the biggest-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup finals set for nine cities in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
