Sky Bet Championship side Blackburn Rovers have successfully reached an agreement to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest.

The Nigerian forward, who has yet to feature in a competitive match for Forest this season, was previously linked with Toulouse and Werder Bremen, but Blackburn have now won the race for his signature.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal, stating on X (formerly Twitter):

"EXCL: Blackburn Rovers agree deal to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest. Player now on his way for medical."

Dennis, 27, initially joined Nottingham Forest from Watford in 2023 but struggled for regular game time. His move to Blackburn Rovers offers him a fresh start as he looks to revive his career in the Championship.
