The Tanzanian ambassador to Nigeria, Benson Alfred Bana, has paid a visit to the country’s U-23 team ahead of their qualifying clash against Nigeria.

Bana visited the team’s camp in Ibadan and urged them to go for victory against the Olympic Eagles.

The Serengeti Boys will need to be at their best to beat the Olympic Eagles after they were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg last weekend.

The game is billed for the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

The overall winners will proceed to the final round of the qualifiers, where they will meet either Uganda or Guinea.

The U-23 AFCON, which Morocco will host in November 2023, will serve as the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games, which will be staged in Paris, France.
