Gary Neville has said that Marcus Rashford has been learning from Cristiano Ronaldo.
This was after the England striker
scored an impressive towering header for Manchester United in their 1-0 win over West Ham United on Sunday.
Rashford’s second half effort was enough to secure the three points for the Red Devils who are now 8 matches unbeaten.
It was also the 24-year-old’s 100th goal for Manchester United and Neville was delighted with his effort.
“I love goals like that!” Neville said on Sky Sports.
“This is Cristiano Ronaldo heading form. I don’t see Rashford do that too many times.
“But he’s got one of the best headers in the world to watch every day in training and that was just like him.
“There’s a real intent in Rashford’s game in this first half. His confidence is back. It wasn’t so long ago people were saying he should be sold.”
