Ramon Olorunwa Abass, also known as Hushpuppi, was convicted and will soon be the subject of a television series, according to popular American rapper and film producer Curtis James Jackson, better known by his stage name 50 Cent.

A United States District Court sentenced Hushpuppi, a Nigerian social media influencer, to 11 years in prison on Monday for conspiring to launder money through various online scams and promoting a lavish, crime-funded lifestyle on social media.

Just 48 hours after Hushpuppi's sentencing, the producer posted a picture of the convicted fraudster along with the message, "For my scammers, I gotta do this one. Hushpuppy series coming soon."

In June 2020, local police detained Hushpuppi in his apartment in Dubai during a joint operation with American agents known as Foxhunt.
