The warning comes in response to Nollywood actor Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, confessing that he had an affair with his colleague Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi, after initially denying it.

Portable, visibly upset, sent a series of voice notes to Baba Tee, condemning his actions and expressing his disappointment. The Zazu crooner, who shared the voice notes via his Instagram story, made it clear that he would not tolerate such behavior towards his wife.

In his words:

“Baba Tee, I respect and like you so much, but you shouldn't be sleeping with other people’s wives.

"You gave Lande’s wife doggy? Is that how the movie industry operates? I swear, if anyone tries that with my wife, they will die! My wife is an actress, and if I catch anyone misbehaving with her, it won’t end well.”

Portable further emphasized that sleeping with another man’s wife leads to setbacks and disgrace, stating:

“There are many women in the world, yet you choose to be with another man’s wife? That’s a dirty act that attracts bad luck. Even if the wife behaves like a dog, why indulge?”

He also urged Baba Tee to put an end to such behavior, warning that it could ruin friendships and reputations.

“Egbon, stop this Truth or Dare nonsense you use to sleep with other people’s wives. It’s not right. I’m telling you because I care about you.”

Portable’s bold statement has since sparked conversations online, with fans reacting to his warning.
