Fairme David, who was recently evicted from the Big Brother Naija house, opened up about his decision to remain single during his time in the house.
In an interview, the reality TV star explained that his primary focus was on staying true to himself rather than pursuing a romantic relationship. "I didn't go into the house to find love," Fairme said when asked why he hadn't sought a connection with any of his female neighbors. Love is not my problem, so I went there to show who Fairme is."
Fairme emphasized that while some contestants use relationships as a strategy to advance in the game, he wasn’t interested in faking love for the cameras. He added that if he had genuinely developed feelings for someone, he would have pursued it. "Anybody coming into the house, and anyone watching Big Brother Naija, knows that being in a 'ship' can take you far, so they quickly want to be in one. I didn’t want to fake it for Nigerians or Africa. If I had fallen in love or caught feelings for someone, I would have gone for it. I wanted it to be real, not forced, so I took my time and did me."
He further explained that although he found the female housemates attractive, none of them fit his specific type. "If the love didn’t come or I didn’t see anyone I was attracted to, fine. I didn’t see anyone that was really my spec; yes, I didn’t see anyone like that. But they were all beautiful women in that house," he added.
