A civil lawsuit accusing rappers Jay-Z and Diddy of raping a 13-year-old girl at a party in New York in 2000 has been dropped by the accuser.

According to documents filed by the plaintiff in federal court in New York on Friday, the lawsuit was “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice.”

Reacting to the dismissal, Jay-Z described it as a victory for those falsely accused.

“Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” Jay-Z said in a statement posted on his company’s social media page.
“The trauma my wife, my children, and my loved ones have endured can never be dismissed.”
