Infamous Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has sparked significant online buzz after an altercation with a pastor was caught on camera.

The incident occurred at Portable's bar, 'Odogwu Bar,' in Sango Ota.

According to reports, the pastor began preaching against alcohol consumption and other activities deemed immoral in the vicinity of Portable's establishment. This apparently incited Portable's ire, leading him to address the situation during an Instagram live session. In a fit of anger, Portable accused the pastor of wanting to see his business fail and delivered a forceful slap to the clergy's neck, while expressing his disdain for the preacher's presence and comments.

In his live video, Portable vehemently rejected the pastor's intervention, saying, “Did you bring business? Did you bring money? Are you mad? You came here and were shouting on my head. Before I left home, I have prayed. Tell him to move forward, it is money we are expecting here.” The singer also added curses and insults directed at the pastor.

The video quickly went viral, drawing a flurry of reactions from social media users. Some of the notable responses include:

  • iambeejay04: commented, “Make the man just file petition, this is first grade assault.”
  • dele_hafeez: remarked, “Which Police formation fit host dis nuisance bayi, Panti or Zone2?”
